Today, Friday 13th is Christmas Jumper Day, when you can donate £1 to Save the Children for the honour of wearing your most kitch, most fun winter woolly. It’s an annual event and one that I’m really chuffed to help support.
If you don’t have one, or can’t get hold of one (I tried and failed miserably) then simply customise your own like I have.
Wear your jumper on Christmas Jumper Day on 13 December and donate £1 to Save the Children at www.christmasjumperday.org .You can buy your Christmas jumper from John Lewis, official retail partner of Christmas Jumper Day. £25 from the sale of every jumper in the Save the Children range goes to the charity.
All money raised from Christmas Jumper Day activities will help save the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. In the world’s poorest countries, more than 7 million children die every year from easily preventable causes like diarrhoea and malnutrition. Simple solutions, like vaccines and mosquito nets save lives – so by getting friends and colleagues to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day on Friday 13th December and donating £1, you can help make a real difference.
There is also going to be a Twitter party today at 1pm. Join in the fun, tweet a selfie of you wearing your Christmas jumper with the hashtag #xmasjumperday and don’t forget to donate your £1 too. I shall be there and would love to see you there too.
You can donate your £1 like this: Text WOOLLY to 70050
Bloggers will be coming together to tweet out their selfies on Twitter and Instagram. Do join us.
