Top 5 Contemporary Handmade Christmas Wreaths

There are some fabulous Christmas wreaths about, whether you go for a traditional handmade version or whether you buy or make your own more contemporary wreath.

Here are my Top 5 Contemporary Handmade Christmas Wreaths:

1. Pot Scrubber Wreath

From the distance you’d never know this one was made from broken up pan scrubbers.

Incredibly stylish and very cool, I love this. Take a look at Life is a Party to see how it’s done.

2. Handmade Modern Wreath

I love the simplicity and colours of this handmade wreath from Amanda Cromwell Designs. If you want to see how she put it together then do hop on over to her blog. You’ll be amazed I promise.

3. Mid Century Retro Wreath

Now it won’t be to everyone’s taste but I love that this is handmade and that it’s incredibly retro. On the right front door in the right area, this will look stunning. Check out Curbly to see how it’s done.

4. Plastic Bags Wreath

You would never believe that this was made from plastic bags would you! Incredibly chic and stylish but frugal and cost effective. I’m tempted to give this one a go myself!

5. Modern Bauble Wreath

There are loads of handmade Bauble wreaths on Pinterest and they’re probably my favourite. I love that you can change the look depending on the colour of your baubles and that you can add in your own accessories like ribbon and feathers to give it an individual feel. I’ve been researching how to make these for the last week and they seem incredibly easy. All I need to do is get myself a hot glue gun from Ebay, pay online with Paypal and the job should be straightforward. Famous last words eh?
