#ARWOMAN: Mandi Gubler from Vintage Revivals

Today, I’m taking part in a lovely campaign by upcoming fashion brand Atterley Road.

The campaign is called #ARWOMAN and aims to celebrate women everywhere. They’ve asked me to tell you about a woman that inspires me, that I admire, and that I want to celebrate.

So, I’ve chosen a DIY Blogger from the US who I’ve followed for a little while now.

Mandi Gubler writes Vintage Revivals which is packed full of incredible thrift store styling and DIY projects. Her creativity and lively writing knows no bounds and I love discovering her latest creations and makoevers.

I know, she’s gorgeous too, right?

She’s the whole package, and I love her honesty. If things go wrong with her DIY, she tells you. It’s not always perfect, even though her imagery might suggest otherwise. Read the words, and you can tell she has a fun, down to earth, honest approach to her life , her blog and her DIY.

I mean, her husband is a recovering drug addict, and their whole life story is on the blog. Honesty.

BUT, it’s her enthusiasm and encouragement of her readers that I love. She’s full of tips and ideas for making your home your own. She wants people to just give things a go, and be fearless in their decorating and home diy. If you fancy something, then go for it and I have no doubt that she’s inspired hundreds of people to take up DIY and be more adventurous with their interior design. Gosh, she even inspired me to give the Cricut a go; she’s a huge fan and there are many Cricut projects on her blog.

AND 90% of her home is from thrift and charity stores. Very impressive.

So, I’m nominating Mandi as my #ARWOMAN. Look out for my shout out on Instagram too. Why not nominate your #ARWOMAN ?

Here are some of my favourite projects from Vintage Revivals. Do go over and check it out, I think you’ll love it!
