Welcome to the first of my Christmas Home posts this season where I’ll be showcasing the best of what’s out there for your home this Christmas. If you would like some more contemporary Christmas inspiration you can follow my Christmas Home Pinterest Board too.
First up I’m looking at Twig Christmas Trees, something that’s been growing in popularity in the last few years (and I’ve just bought one for myself too!). If you love a traditional green Christmas tree, either real or fake, then this won’t be for you, but if you are into something a little different and more contemporary then you’ll love them.
Many of them come pre-lit, but some don’t and you can add your own lights. They look best when you use decorations from within the same theme (I’ll be covering this in another post) and when you keep it quite simple. Give them plenty of space to stand out in the room and enjoy.
So here’s my best of what’s out there at the moment for Twig Christmas Trees.
John Lewis Pre-Lit Paper White Tree:
This twig Christmas tree from John Lewis can be used outdoors, comes pre-lit with 120 soft white LED lights and consists of two parts. As you can see from the image above it looks just as stunning indoors. Available in 2 different sizes the 6.5ft is £95 whilst the 4ft is just £60. Isn’t it fabulous?
You can shop the John Lewis Christmas tree selection here
Homebase Snowy Evergreen Twig:
This lovely 5ft snow covered twig Christmas tree is only £24.99 in the Homebase sale at the time of writing. A fabulous contemporary Christmas tree without lights that looks good with or without decorations. Look out for a review of this one coming soon on the blog.

The Range Crystal LED Twig Christmas Tree:
AT 150cms tall, this stunning twig Christmas tree is covered in LED lights and crystal droplets. It would create a real statement in any home, hardly needing any decorations at all. This is one of the more expensive at £169.99.
You can buy the Crystal LED Tree and see the rest of the artificial trees from The Range
B&Q Multifunction LED Blossom Twig Tree:
You can use this fabulous tree either indoors or outdoors as it comes with 500 pre-lit twinkling LED lights. Wouldn’t that look fabulous outside your front door? Of course it would look just as good indoors too. 7ft tall and £135.
This tree and many others is available from the B&Q website.
House of Fraser Premier Osaka Cherry Tree:
This tree is actually over 2metres high and has over 400 LED lights so perfect for outdoors but gorgeous indoors too. At £250 it’s an investment but one that will be used year after year.
The Osaka tree, along with many others can be viewed at House of Fraser
So what do you think of Twig Christmas trees? Are they something you would consider for your home?
