Chic Showcase: Contemporary Wall Stickers

It was only quite recently that I discovered the new trend for contemporary wall stickers, and fell in love with them instantly.

There are a vast number of websites out there with a huge variety and range of easy to apply, modern stickers. They are a fantastic was to jazz up plain walls or to create a feature wall that will be a real talking point.

Like many people I’m sure, I love the current trend for words on our wall. Sayings such as ‘Live Love Laugh’, HOME, Bathe and RELAX are great examples and can be found in most home stores now both on the high street and online, and the wall sticker market is no exception. There are quotes galore! Fun, cute, loving, even old song lyrics can adorn your walls now.

There are also patterns and prints to suit most tastes I would say.

What really caught my attention though were the sticker chalk boards. Yes that’s right, stickers that can be used as a notice board, and they come with a free set of chalks! Amazing.

Of course I had to have one… and here it is.

Speech Bubble sticker from Spin Collective - £20

It’s the speech bubble from SPIN, easy to apply, removable and looks totally fabulous. And it’s totally flat on the wall! So many people have commented on it (some have even tried to peel it off!).

We’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s great. The girls love writing messages on it, I pop the weekly food menu up there, and I can jot down any bits that need to go on the shopping list. Fantastic! There is quite a range of chalkboard stickers available at Spin Collective (and lots of other places too). In fact there are so many that I found it very hard to choose.

What am I after now? Well my youngest daughter has just had her bedroom decorated and we’ve found the perfect wall sticker for her.  The quote is: ‘I love you all the way to the moon and back’. It’s one of our favourite sayings – how cool is that!
