Oh yes, that’s correct, I’ve mentioned it. There has to be a first time, and today’s the day that I talk about Christmas.
To be honest, there’s been a lot of Christmas talk in my home over the last few days. With children it’s pretty unavoidable and they’ve been chatting about Santa and their wishlist.
Some of this was inspired by a recent package I received from Debenhams.
I’ve taken part in a lovely Secret Santa idea where I was paired with another blogger, and we have exchanged gifts. Jennie from Sailor Jennie has chosen some 1920s Vintage inspired pieces for me, and whilst I wait for the house renovations to finish before I style them, I’ve put together a moodboard, showcasing the pieces with some other favourite finds from the Debenhams Christmas gift guide
Quite a few of these pieces are from the Ben de Lisi range – do you know it? It’s always been one of my favourites at Debenhams to be honest, and I’ve loved his pug design which still appears now on many of his Debenhams collection today. A little while ago when I did the first screentest for QVC, I used the Ella pug dog cushion as my example piece, and it went down really well. I learned a lot about the history of Ben de Lisi and Debenhams which was fascinating.
Jennie has chosen the striking camera lamp and the typography art for my home. As you know I love a bit of wall art, and this one is really unusual, in that it’s printed onto glass. It will make a great display against a colourful wall and will look great in my hallway or landing once the renovations and painting are complete.
Are you planning your Christmas shopping yet? Do you buy home gifts at all for anyone?
It’s been fun taking part in the Secret Santa campaign with Debenhams, where the presents were gifted as part of the project.
