Christmas is a time for coming together with friends, family or others and today’s post is looking at how we can create a luxurious Christmas dining space.
In collaboration with Juliette’s Interiors I’m creating a moodboard of dining room style for a luxurious Christmas all centred around a dining table.
Let me showcase this stunning round marble table finished with gold accents. It really is a statement piece and is my chosen table from the Juliette’s Interiors collection for my dream room.
If I had the space and could do a makeover this is the style I’d try out. Isn’t it wonderful?
When I saw the styling shots on the website coupled with the soft pink backed chairs it gave me inspiration for my pink and gold theme. It’s a look that works well with the coolness of marble, and mixing together the colours and texture can give a rather different, but subtle Christmas look.
So for this post I’ve had a little fun and found a few extra pieces you could couple together to create a an alternative pink and gold Christmas theme. Juliette’s Interiors is renowned for its luxury dining furniture so I thought it would be a good idea to take a few extra pieces from their website which will work well with the marble table.
Then, I scoured a few other websites, knowing what I had in mind, to find a few extra pieces and accessories to finish the room.
This is the moodboard I’ve put together to give you an idea of my thoughts:
Contemporary round marble table || Gold Vase || Antique Gold Leaf Cabinet || Gold Serving Trolley || Gold Cutlery
|| Sara Miller London Cracker || Lovebird Cake Stand || Pink Wreath
You know how much I love a good drinks trolley if you follow me regularly, and every good dining room deserves one. This bar trolley has a beautiful rounded style, reproducing the soft curves from the dining table and picking up the gold accents of course.
Storage is always good in a dining room too and this wonderful gold leaf cabinet has a quirky mid-century shaping which really caught my attention. I love the finish on this piece too and again, think it would work well in my pink and gold Christmas room.
Once you have the basics of your furniture in place it’s time to think about the accessories that finish the look.
I found a very sweet pink wreath on Not on the High Street which would make a good hanging feature or could be used as a centrepiece on the table.
Next we need some crackers that pick up the pink and gold look and these are from Sara Miller London – in fact, they’re beauty crackers containing hand cream which I thought was a lovely touch for those that love their skin products.
Let’s add some stylish gold cutlery – here from H&M home. They are always worth a look for their home products at any time of year but do a lovely range of pieces at Christmas.
Of course, we need to serve those mince pies or Christmas pudding on a divine cake stand, again picking out the gold and pink accents – which these piece from Sara Miller London again.
Then, finally I’ve finished the look with a beautiful gold leaf tray from Juliette’s Interiors – is the perfect accessory for showcasing Christmas gifts for your guests or serving the after dinner chocolates to round of your meal.
What do you think of my dream luxury Christmas dining room?
