Looking Thru a Coloured Lens

Every now and again I get offered something to try that isn’t always about the home but more about lifestyle and this is just one of those occasions. At the time I thought it would have been great to try these out for my trip to London recently and the Cosmopolitan awards but it didn’t work out. I’ve been trying these out at home and on a few nights out too to see how I get on with them.

If, like me, you wear contact lenses have you ever tried coloured contacts lenses? Well I hadn’t and though it would be really good fun to give them a go. I’d seen Amanda from The Ana Mum Diary trying them last year and liked the result so thought it worth a try.

I normally wear daily disposable contacts and Ciba Vision, the brand I use make coloured contacts too so it was easy to choose.  What do you think in my before and after shots above then? Can you tell the difference? It’s very subtle isn’t it, but the coloured contacts add a level of depth to my eye colour and I love it. In the pictures you can see me wearing the green lenses, but I’ve also been given the blue ones too, which gave my eyes a rich, glossy colour.

I’m a convert I must say. I’ll be buying myself some of these regularly and think they’re great for going out, special occasions or to be honest, just for fun. Great product and great prices too. I’m happy.

I love your natural colours eyes, beautiful! But can imagine that the coloured lenses are fun for a change. I’m reviewing some Halloween ones, wish me luck! hahaha
