Welcome everyone, to another great Moodboard Monday shared with the wonderful Mummylish over at LISH Concepts. The theme this week is London and in light of such an awe inspiring Olympics and Paralympics, it is so fitting. And so I’ll hand over to Mummylish straight away with her Moodboard, but if you want to see what I put together this week hop over to LISH to check it out.
Moodboard Monday this week was a bit of a challenge for me or at least I challenged myself with it 😉 We’d chosen the theme of London and I loooove London but from a design perspective I wanted to create an original moodboard. With all the hype surrounding the Olympic and Paralymic games recently there has been a flurry of London inspired design. While I really like this, I wanted to do something a bit different and creative so I decided to play around with choosing items of furniture that could represent London without being directly linked. So I set out with all the top sights in mind and tried to see if I could recreate my own London scene. See if you can spot, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, a telephone box, the Thames, the ‘bullet’ and a bus stop in this modern interiors moodboard. I think I’ve created quite a modern interior with interesting design pieces that would for sure be a talking point. Words that come to mind with this one are urban, hip, contemporary which could well represent our capital which has just been voted the fashion capital of the world! I know I am inspired by London and I hope this moodboard has inspired you to perhaps join in and play! This moodboard was created on Polyvore but as you will see if you pop over to my blog there are many ways you can create a moodboard including picmonkey which Jen used for this weeks Moodboard Monday. We’d love to see what you come up with and you still have a 2 weeks to think up a London board.
I love this board! Absolutely so hip and cool and very contemporary. Hope it inspires you to make your own Moodboard and come and join us.
And so finally, the theme for next time is:
