Today a group of bloggers are taking parting in the local Nottingham Race For Life, raising money and awareness for Cancer Relief. They will run and walk the 5k course wearing tutus, butterfly faces and pink headbands. It will be an emotional morning for them and many other women who are running, as many have been touched Cancer in some way, big or small.
Earlier this week my oldest friend told her story on Mammasauras’ blog, where Annie has been running incredibly touching Cancer stories all week. It’s an uplifting take on how Cancer affected her and her family, and how it gave them precious time together to create lifelong memories. It is beautifully written and full of love and I am incredibly proud of her for making her story public.
The blogging team running today’s Race for Life are sponsored by Brioche Pasquier who have donated £250 into the fundraising pot to start it off. It’s the first time the company have sponsored the event and have 2 promotions running to promote it.
The ‘Run with Mum’ promotion, now available on the Pitch range, is to encourage you to run with your children by covering a single child’s £10 entry fee for 1,000 pairs of little legs.
The second promotion, ‘Raise Some Dough’, available throughout June and July across all products, gives you the opportunity to win donations of up to £100 to send to friends or family taking part in a Race for Life event through their JustGiving page – or alternatively you can simply donate to the Brioche Pasquier Race for Life team.
Also keep an eye out for Brioche Pasquier products at the Race for Life events, as every runner will be offered a tasty ‘PITCH’ filled brioche.
