These examples are from a collection called A Colourful World, the new Jessica Hogarth wallpaper range. I love the colours, the quirky, cuteness of the designs and the innocent, hand-drawn finished product.

This young artist from England is grabbing attention with her fresh surface and textile designs. Her work is strongly influenced by her idyllic surroundings of her home in North Yorkshire. Jessica won a design bursary in 2012 from design blogger Kate Tregidden’s Confessions of a Design Geek, and has since gone on to work with wallunica.com, where a selection of her designs are now featured.

After completing her art studies in Leeds, Jessica Hogarth exhibited her work at the “New Designers” show in London and then worked as in-house designer for a company in Manchester for a year. Since 2011, she has been active as a freelance designer, running her label Jessica Hogarth Designs from her native North Yorkshire.

What do you think of these wallpapers? Could you use them in your own home?

I also love the fact that this collections features wallpapers suitable for a family home, the nursery in particular. Check out these cute alternatives to character designs.

Aren’t they just adorable? I particularly like the camper vans and can see this appealing to adults and children alike. Such a fun, refreshing range. The price does reflect the design and british made product and currently is retailing at 129 EUR which is around £107 per roll.

You can check out the full collection on the wallunica.com website and you can see more on the full Jessica Hogarth range on her own site here.

I am loving the birds and the houses. I’m not brave enough for the geometric patterns but I think these wallpapers are different and eye catching

OH WOW! I love the geometric shapes one – how very, very now! Such a perfect way of getting across a love of bright colour and design into a room.
