Made.com Navy Tripod Lamp Review

Navy lamp review

You may not have come across made.com yet. If you read this blog regularly though you may have seen me mention their products from time to time and even seen them in my giveaways. This is the first time I’ve actually reviewed one of their products and I’m thrilled to be trying out the very popular Navy Tripod lamp.

Made.com Navy Tripod Lamp Review:

Made is a site that cuts out the middle man. When you order from the made.com website you know you’ll be getting a designer item without the designer price tag. Great designs are sold at up to 70% less than high street prices.

The Navy Tripod Lamp is a favourite of the press having been featured in the Times Style Magazine as you can see below, and I can see why.

The lamp is designed with a nautical, contemporary edge, seafaring tripod stand, and lovely chrome metal detailing. The rubberwood legs are finished in a smooth white lacquer and can be adjusted to suit your space. The polyester cotton mix shade is a good size and balances the width of the tripod perfectly. This lamp is beautifully made and looks stunning, suiting lots of styles and looks. Would it look good in your room?

I certainly love the way it looks in our living room. Our eldest daughter recently cartwheeled into our previous lamp so I was thrilled to be offered this one as a replacement. It’s bang on trend, looks great with the rest of our decor and casts a lovely light in the evenings. Even though it’s a contemporary piece, this lamp wouldn’t look out of place in a more traditional setting and could be placed in many different rooms. You could try it in the bedroom for mood lighting, in the dining room as a corner statement or even in a large hallway to add extra light and interest.

The Navy Tripod lamp is also available in blue, white and black and is currently selling for £79. You can view more information about the lamp and make your purchase on the made.com website.

Lighting isn’t the only thing I’m drawn to on the made.com website. I just love their retro, very modern range of sofas including the Jonah sofa below (which comes in many different colours if fennel green isn’t for you!).

The range of dining chairs is extensive too. Take a look at these gorgeous Fjord Dining Chairs in Jay and Oak, £99 for the pair. You can view the full range of chairs here.

Finally I wanted to highlight the beds range too. I just love this Finlay double bed with storage in Persian Grey which is currently selling for £499.

You can view all of the beds, including the Finlay on made.com here

I adore that lamp, I think that style is really easy to make work in most rooms. Very practical!

    Hi Jen,
A tripod lamp is something that I have never heard of before. I am a big fan of tripods for many things that are supposed to be mobile (cameras, other photography stuff) but using tripods for furniture seems very bizarre to me. I suppose that it will have more stability than a single lamp though. Anyways, thanks for sharing this, I’ll be sure to check it out,
    Andrew

bought the lamp – Made… more like made badly. Legs uneven lengths, adjustable height yet, don’t lock out! stablisers are loose, so overall the lamp is impossible to get straight and always looks wonky. Lamp screw clasp useless and legs sank or collapsed several times, with lamp shade damaged in the process.
