Wallpaper Wednesday: Cole and Son’s Corallo – The Fornasetti Collection

Welcome to another week of Wallpaper Wednesday where this week I’m showcasing this beautiful print by Cole and Son called Corallo. It’s part of their Fornasetti Collection based on fine drawings by the Italian artist, Piero Fornasetti.

designer wallpaperCole and Son has a unique reputation for wallpaper production and holds an archive of designs from artists and designers from the last 250 years. This one, I love.

Just right for this time of year. The feathery coral images are arranged in a quartet and have a branch and tree like structure. Some colourways are subtly metallic too adding to the price no doubt, but also the quality and sophistication of the design.

Cole and Son’s Corallo sells for between £72 and £98 per roll. It’s not a cheap paper but is stunning in its design and will be an amazing focal point of your room.

Available from Wallpaperdirect and the wonderful Heals website too.

I’ve been sat looking at these, and trying to work out if they look like trees or skeletons of leaves, almost like fossils. lovely choice.
