Courtesy of British Gas, I have one Hive Active Heating system to give away worth £199.

Hive is an innovative new system that allows you to control your heating and hot water from an app on your smartphone, tablet or pc. And you don’t need to be a British Gas customer to have one; they are available to anyone.

Working with your existing heating system, Hive allows you to manage how your heating is used, wherever you are. At this time of year, when it’s extremely cold outside, there’s so much temptation to have the heating on constantly. After all, no-one wants to come home to a chilly house at the end of the day. Using the Hive system, you are able to switch the heating on and off, and increase or decrease the temperature with one or two easy swipes on the app. This amazing system gives you the opportunity to save up to £150 per year on your heating bill.

I’m a big fan of this system, and love the look of the components as well as the ease of use. You can see a full review of Hive, over on The Ana Mum Diary too. It comprises of 3 parts, a hub, a receiver and a wireless thermostat, and is installed by a British Gas engineer for a one off cost of £199. All this will be included in the prize.
