Wallpaper Wednesday: Book Wallpaper by Young and Battaglia

Isn’t this great! This week’s offering is called Book and is by Young and Battaglia, an Anglo-British design duo who have been producing playful and iconic designs together since 2003. I have to admit, it’s more expensive than the paper I would normally feature at £70 per roll. But I do think it would look AMAZING in the alcoves either side of my fireplace in the living room, or the dining room. So much so, that I’d stretch to the price.

When I look at chic and trendy home interiors magazines and the homes that are styled with colour organised book shelves I admit to feeling a little envious. I would love my bookshelves to look like this, but in reality it is never going to happen. There is a lovely post with great images over on The White Approach discussing best ways to fill a bookcase, but if all else fails, I’d resort to this paper. It’s so on trend, and would be so easy to live with that I’m not surprised it’s as popular as it is.

Do let me know if you like this one; I’m really interested in your comments.

Book by Young and Battaglia is available for £70 per roll from British By Design

Yes, it’s got to be the right kind of house hasn’t it. I dream of a converted barn in the country. One day!

It looks great – not sure it would work in my home sadly.

Ooh that sounds divine. Yes, hope you don’t have to get more than two rolls. I’m revamping my dining room later this year and I’m hankering after this wallpaper too. Send me a pic when you’re done!
