There is a home interiors trend kicking around at the moment for Monochrome. And I’m loving it! So much so that I decided to hunt out some fabulous monochrome wallpaper for today’s Wallpaper Wednesday feature.
This is Hula by Barbara Hulanicki and it’s available from Graham and Brown for £25 per roll.
If you’re familiar with Barbara Hulanicki’s signature style you’ll recognise this straight away. She also designs a clothing range for Asda so maybe you’ve seen it there! I love it. It’s very 1920’s/30’s styling and think it looks amazing in the black and white.
Don’t think for a minute this will be dull and boring. Just look at the lifestyle shots above and see how combined with one bright colour the whole look can be changed. The warmth and vibrancy of the pop of orange lifts the whole look and makes if fun and very modern.
Now if black and white isn’t your thing but you’re liking the style and the pattern then why not take a look at it in another colourway. Available also in green, with a distinct metallic sheen this might appeal to those of you who like to do your wallpaper a little less bold. Still stylish, still gorgeous just not so dramatic.
What do you think of today’s choices? Can you imagine them on your walls, in your home?
