An Indian Summer with Out & Out Garden Furniture

I took these images at the weekend, the beginning of September, and what a glorious weekend it was. The weather was quite unexpected, yet so welcome.
Whilst we’ve been spoiled with a beautiful summer, I’m loathe to give up the warm days just yet, and so I made the most of the sun, spending some time on the patio.

What we have been able to do though is update our old garden and chairs combo with this contemporary beauty from Out & Out.

I was immediately drawn to the contemporary, sleek styling. Our old set was a cheap purchase from eBay about 8 years ago and was dated and worn but this Havana set is very modern. It fits exactly with the look I love and want to keep around the house and home.

So, why do I choose a set like this? Well one huge reason for me is that it’s maintenance free. There’s no way we’d ever find the time or inclination to treat a wooden set every year, so this is the perfect answer.
I am going to invest in a cover to keep it looking pristine through the winter, but I’ve already wiped it several times (it’s been in our garden for over a month) and it comes up looking like new every time.

And let me tell you how comfortable the chairs are. I’ve noticed, as they are so light, how much easier it is for the children to move them when they sit at the table. The old set was very heavy, and for kids, proved to be a bit of an issue. With the Havana chairs they have no such problems.

The only downside I can see is the lack of central hole for an umbrella. Maybe the idea of that is a little old school though, particularly in a more contemporary style. I’ll just have to invest in a standalone umbrella for next summer!

The Havana set was gifted but all thoughts and opinions are genuine and my own. Thank you for supporting the brands the make the blog possible.

Looks lovely Jen – fingers crossed the good weather continues a little longer, eh? x
I can see why you’re so pleased with it. Looks really smart. And garden furniture that is maintenance free always gets my vote.
It looks wonderful, Jen. Here’s hoping that we really do get that Indian Summer and you can enjoy being in the garden for a couple of months more x
