I’ve discovered a lovely European online shop that I wanted to showcase, as I really love some of the quirky products on sale there.
DaWanda is a marketplace with a difference; all of the sellers are small designers, and none of the stock is mass produced.
So, if you’re looking for something unusual and a little different for your home, this is definitely a place to check out.
Let me show you some of my favourite finds so far:
Most of the prices are in Euros, but don’t let that put you off. It’s worth it, to find something you love, that is produced on a smaller scale and that you know your friends won’t have.
The prices are pretty reasonable too. The doorknobs for example are just 10 EUR, and the light around 100 EUR. More unusual, large pieces, like the corrugated cardboard chair are into the hundreds, but that’s what you would expect at a site like this.
Delivery from Europe is a little more tricky of course, but the shipping costs are greatly reduced if you buy more than one item from a certain seller. Then, it’s comparable with shipping prices from within the UK.
DaWanda isn’t all about home interiors though. It’s a huge site with sections in Fashion, Bags, Jewellery, Children and Vintage, so there’s plenty for everyone, and lots to keep you occupied during an online shopping session.
So, if you want to check it out further, take a look at the Home section first, where you’ll find my product selection and more, and then go browsing!
