Chic vs Cheap: Retro Storage Jars

alternative retro storage jars to Orla Kiely

I’ve long been a fan of these fabulous retro storage jars which look great in all kinds of kitchens. In fact, there’s no need to limit them to the kitchen, they would look beautiful in a bedroom on a dressing table or even in the bathroom on a shelf or windowsill.

My Chic vs. Cheap feature is here again to show how you can find lovely products in different price ranges. On the left in the Chic category today we have one of Orla Kiely’s designs, although these jars are available in various colourways and patterns they are unmistakable as Orla Kiely. Our Cheap version is a great little jar from Matalan which retails for just £5. What a bargain!

Great style and design is out there in all kinds of stores at all kinds of prices and this feature isn’t about just showing something cheaper. It’s about giving you choices and options and showing that there are great products available to suit all kinds of budgets.

Where to buy:

If you’d like to find out more about the products you can find Orla Kiely products widely available from the Orla Kiely website or at stores like John Lewis, and the Matalan jar can be purchased here

Great find! Though I fear matalan’s stock has probably changed by now, the colourway would fit perfectly in my kitchen
