As you know, I’m a huge fan of Pinterest and take lots of inspiration from the site, both for the blog and for personal projects.
If you don’t yet use it, or are quite new to using it, let me tell you how much fun you can have, and how addictive it can be!
Pinterest is a visual feast of images, which you can pin onto your own boards, and use to create your own collections or moodboards. The images are pinned onto Pinterest from websites and blogs, using a Pin It button either on your toolbar, or already installed on the site. On my blog for example, when you hover over an image, a red Pin button will appear allowing you to pin the image onto one of your boards on Pinterest. Feel free to do this as much as you would like!
On of my favourite boards, and most popular is my Wall Art board so I thought you might like to see some of my recent and most favourite pins. The board is a collection of images that inspire me to create wonderful wall collages, wall galleries and wall displays.
Create your Own Feature Wall:
I just love this idea from the blog A Beautiful Mess which I found on Pinterest the other day. It’s been very popular on the board too, being repinned a lot from the followers.
Scandi Wall Collage:
Another popular pin from Dutch blog ensuus which showcases how simple black and white can have a real impact when displayed on a white wall. I’m looking for a wall in my home where I could recreate this.
Instagram Wall Tutorial:
Pinterest contains a wealth of information, particularly tutorials which are very popular. I spotted this one on my feed a little while ago, and it’s been repinned lots since. From the blog Gimme Some Oven, the blog owner undertook this project with the help of the frames company, to create a very fun and funky wall gallery. Again, something else I’d love to do in my own home.
Clipboard Wall Display:
I pinned this image from Craft-o-Maniac a little while ago, as it gave me huge inspiration for a clipboard display I made in my daughter’s tween bedroom makeover. It’s been very popular so I imagine lots of people are taking inspiration from this wonderful idea.
Creative Picture Frames:
I love the fact that Pinterest allows you to discover new and exciting ideas like this creative way to display images from Etsy. Again, another popular pin and not surprising. As well as being creative, an idea like this is incredibly simple to implement and looks so effective. Another one I’m longing to try.
If you fancy finding more ideas like this, do check out my Wall Art board, and come and follow the pins I’m finding.
