So the long dark Winter is dragging on, and somehow Spring seems an age away. As much as I want to spend time outside, it’s cold, icy and not much fun when everyone is whining about how chilly they are. And that doesn’t include the children.
However, I’ve been reviewing a lovely Garden Bistro Set from Hayes Garden World and it’s made me melancholy for some brighter weather.
Consisting of the 3 pieces, 2 chairs and a small table, the set sits beautifully on the patio outside the kitchen doors. I can already imagine sitting here with my early morning coffee, enjoying the morning sun before the business of the day commences. The beauty of working from home, also means that lunchtimes can be spent outside when the weather allows, and it’s a wonderful way to break from the laptop.
This is the Hartman Bentley Alexandra Bistro Set, made of a synthetic resin weave that’s beautifully made. It’s strong, sturdy and very solid, with 2 seat cushions in a pistachio green.
The two-tone walnut resin is woven over an aluminium frame, so it’s light and durable, and easy to move around if you need to. But, it’s the attention to detail that’s really caught my eye on this set. The well made cushions, the steel details on the legs, the suction pads keeping the glass in place. It’s extra details like this that give the set its quality.
The table comes flat packed and took just 20 minutes or so to put together. The chairs come in large boxes and very well packaged. Assembling the whole set took half an hour and was very simple. Before you know it, you have a lovely bistro set ready to go!
All we need now is some sunshine, a morning of warmer weather and an excuse to get outside and use the set.
This set is from Hayes Garden World and retails for £349.99 (but at the time of writing, is in the sale at £249.99). You can check out the set further here.
Thanks to Hayes Garden World for gifting the set. All comments and opinions and genuine and honest.
