At this time of year, when we might still be feeling the pinch from Christmas spending, bagging a bargain is always top of my priority list. I’ve got lots of inspiration and ideas for things I want to do at home but I’m always on the lookout for a bargain to make it easier on my pocket. So I was really pleased when Barclaycard asked me to try out their Bespoke Offers site and pick a few things I might like.
The Bespoke Offers website is a collection of daily and ongoing deals, some particular to your location, that range from fashion and home, to hotel stays, magazine deals and food offers. It’s a really diverse, eclectic mix where you’re bound to find something for everyone. Of course, I’m always keen for something to put into the home and was thrilled to see The White Company on there with some sale items available. Initially I managed to get hold of a lovely new Sheepskin rug with a 1/3 off, but unfortunately we missed it at the last minute and it went out of stock. Never fear though, there is a very range of home stores linked to Bespoke Offers and so the sheepskin rug was soon replaced. Here’s what I went for:
From The White Company:
A beautiful signature white cotton towelling full length dressing gown, reduced from £50 to £40, and a gorgeous Geranium candle that makes my home smell like a spa (£14)
A Litecraft Spiro 1 Ceiling pendant reduced from £99 to £69. It’s very retro, reminding me of a spirograph and looks stunning in situ in my living room.
What do you think? Doesn’t the light look stunning? I’m really pleased with it and such a bargain too.
It’s worth checking back with Bespoke Offers regularly or sign up to receive their emails. I’ve just looked this morning and there’s a fabulous online Photography course for SLR users at just £19, instead of £100. I know a few people who might be interested in that one! It’s also worth remembering you can buy the deals as gifts too, with great ideas for birthday and anniversary presents. I can see me getting a couple of magazine subscriptions in the near future too.
So if you have the January blues but have lots of ideas and inspirations for doing up your home, checking out a site like Bespoke Offers is a great way to grab a bargain, put some of those ideas into practice, but not spend a fortune.
