Some of you may have noticed that the blog has had a shiny new makeover, just in time for Christmas.
I thought it was about time I refreshed things a little, so I had some very talented people work on it for me.
Firstly, the lovely Lucy from LISH Concepts has designed a brand new logo. There was nothing wrong with the old one, but the blog had moved on, and I wanted something that depicted how the blog had developed over the last year. This one is fresher and brighter and more streamlined, and I love it. Thank you Lucy!
Next, I needed a new look to the site to go with the new logo. Stacey Corrin is a very talented blog designer, ghostwriter and blogger and I’d noticed a great new blog theme that she’d designed herself. It wasn’t quite ready for use but she had a raft of other themes she recommended and they were exactly right for me and my blog.
It took just a few hours, and Stacey had completely revamped the way this blog looks. From the front, I hope you think it looks clean and fresh, contemporary and stylish. I also hope it’s easy to navigate and read too. From the back end, it feels much easier to use than my old site, and has lots of features that I’m thrilled with. Stacey has used this theme, Foodie Pro on the Genesis Framework before so could offer lots of suggestions and tips, and I feel confident it’s going to allow me to develop the site further next year.
Do let me know what you think about the new logo and layout. Feedback is very useful.
And so it just leaves me with the task of wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! It’s been an incredible blogging year, (I’m already planning a blog post on it all) but for now, I hope that you all have a wonderful time, whether you’re spending it with family or friends, or simply enjoying a little peace.
