What Makes The Perfect Home?

The Perfect Home? Well it has to be different for everyone, doesn’t it? For some, it might be having a kids’ playroom, for others it might be a great entertaining space, or for others it might be having their favourite family antiques on display. Whatever it is, it’s really important that you create a home that’s special and perfect for you.

Of course, it may be the case, that you’re still striving for the perfect home. Perhaps your home is a work in progress, with building work, renovations and makeovers still to be completed. It’s quite likely that there are still elements of your living space, that make is special and perfect to you.

No matter what I do, or where I live, the one thing that always makes my home perfect to me, is having lots of family photographs on the walls. I have a black and white wall collage on my stairway for example, containing photos of my girls through the years. Every time I walk down the stairs I look at them, straighten them, and reminisce, even if just for a second. It’s what makes my house a home, and my space something perfect and special to me. Wherever I am, I know that I could always recreate that display, and that feeling of warmth and love too. It’ a very special spot for me, but I also have lots of photos of my girls and the rest of my family around the house

Amara Living, in collaboration with Heart Home Magazine, are running a very interesting survey, aiming to identify what makes the Perfect Home for you. It only takes a few minutes, but really makes you think about what you find important in a home. How many bathrooms would you have? What kind of area would make the perfect location? Would your perfect home have hot tub or a swimming pool? All valid questions when you’re thinking about your Perfect Home.

And what’s more, if you take the survey you are in with a chance of winning £500 to spend at the lovely Amara website, to help you create your very own Perfect Home. So what are you waiting for? The survey is only open for 2 weeks, so hop on over and give it a go.

You can find the Amara Living and Heart Home Magazine’s The Perfect Home survey here.

I’m thrilled to be partnering with Amara Living on my journey to Blogtacular in May – check back soon to find out more.
