Relax at Home with Caffe Cagliari

In the last few years, in these times of austerity, we spend more and more time in our homes. It can be too expensive to go out, so we have nurtured out homes into the space where we can relax, entertain and socialise. Going out for a regular coffee, as a catch up with friends, is a real pleasure for me. It’s a real treat, a time away from work, stresses and my busy life. It’s often a time to reflect and just watch the world go by. More often though, it’s simply a time to put my head in a magazine and forget about everything else around me. Those times are precious.

Even though I might like to, I can’t do that every day. The cost would mount up and I simply can’t justify it. Is there an answer? Well it appears there is.

Now at the moment I don’t have a coffee machine at home, but this experience may well convince me that it’s a good investment.  Enjoying a Caffe Cagliari Americano Deca made me realise how I could recreate my coffee experience in the comfort of my own home.

Sharing a cuppa and a catch up with friends, and using Becky’s very neat and compact Nespresso machine made me realise that you can recreate that experience at home. The Caffe Cagliari coffee pods work out at just 30p per cup; a massive saving on the £3 latte that I love to enjoy when I’m out. This would well be a great investment for me!

Now as you may have picked up, I like to indulge in a decaff coffee, and whilst that’s not really what the Italians first had in mind, I still get my coffee buzz from the experience. For the hard core coffee drinkers amongst you, Caffe Cagliari has a great selection, ranging from the Espresso Elite, a lower decaf delicately flavoured coffee, to Crem Espresso with a full flavour and intense aroma.

All of the coffee from Cafe Cagliari is made by the company started over 100 years ago, and still run by the family today. Alessandro Cagliari, the great, great granddaughter of the founder still manages the marketing and packaging within the company today. I like that.

So, it looks like I might be investing in a Nespresso machine, and filling up on some Caffe Cagliari capsules for just £2.99 for a pack of 10. Here’s to many more moments of reflection over a lovely cuppa.
