I’ve been waiting a little while to show this to you, and was going to have it on my new bed in the new attic room. Alas that hasn’t happened, timescales have slipped, or my expectations were too high. Maybe a little of both. It hasn’t stopped me enjoying this review though, and I can safely say this is my newest, most favourite blanket of all.
In a stunning grey and colour block yellow, this is soft, warm and deliciously comforting on a cold Autumn evening. I spend many a night wrapped up in this blanket, snoozing on the sofa, when I should be doing chores or chatting to the husband. He’s definitely lost me to the blanket.
Part of the Tartan Blanket Company’s Lifestyle collection, this blanket mixes traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. It’s incredibly thick, but not too heavy. Just enough to know you’re wrapped up in it.

- Purled cream fringes at each end
- Washable as per label

I adore the fact that it can look fabulous on a bed, or simple and stylish on a statement chair, and so comfortable on a sofa. It’s a really good size, and fits well over the double bed (I used it on the bed when we had no roof recently!) and all the family love it. The children are particularly partial to a good blanket, and this one gets their approval too.
The grey and yellow block stripe is a great fit for my décor, in several rooms actually, and will work in the new neutral bedroom too. Currently I’m loving it in the lounge with the yellow pops of colour I have there, so I may have to treat the new bedroom to its own. They have different colourways you know!
This Lifestyle blanket is available from the Tartan Blanket Company website and sells for £60. Do check out the full range, there’s sure to be one for your home.
I was gifted the blanket but all comments and love for the product is genuine and honest.
