Wallpaper Wednesday – Harlequin Identity Acacia

I do love striped wallpaper. Maybe you have guessed that the header to the blog is made up of photos from around my home. The stripes you see are actually from the wallpaper in my living room, which maybe I’ll cover in a different Wallpaper Wednesday feature! But for today I wanted to show you the way that Harlequin have put together not one but two wallpapers to create the look you see above. What I love about it is how modern and contemporary wallpaper can now look. Just a little imagination and you can create your own special individual look for your own space. Something that reflects your personality and is completely you.

What Harlequin have done here is used two wallpapers from the same Identity range and used them horizontally. Acacia and Acacia Stripe in these very modern colours of purple and citrus shades give a very dramatic, contemporary look to this room. Probably best used on taller walls in order to get the effect but you could just use one stripe of each positioned in the middle section of the wall if the wall isn’t high enough to take more.

What do you think? Could you be bold enough to go for a look like this?

  1. This would be way too much for me. I like really basic white in my home probably because its overstuffed with toys books and stuff , I think you would need a very tidy/minimalist house to pull this off!
