Wallpaper Wednesday: Stacked Logs Wallpaper from Albany

logs wallpaper

Today’s Wallpaper Wednesday brings you this rustic looking Stacked Logs Wallpaper from Albany. I’ve chosen this one because, although it might seem tricky to know how to use it, it is bang on trend for the new Autumn/Winter season. For the last few years we’ve seen a move towards a more rustic, rural style of living in our interior trends and this year is no different. This trend is here to stay it would seem so let’s embrace and see how we can work it into our current decor.

If you want to use a wallpaper like this it’s best to ensure that the rest of the room will work with it. If you’re giving your dining room a makeover for example and want to use something like this as a statement wall or in the alcoves think about how you’re going to work it in with the rest of the decor. For colours go for rich and warm and think about nature too, keeping with greens, blues and rustic reds and oranges. Use fabrics that are reminiscent of the outdoors like tweeds, tartans and checks. Another popular trend recently has been that of woodland and forest animals being used on all  kinds of accessories, from wall decor to cushions and crockery. Mixing these kinds of items in with the look will help give it an authentic feel and create a lovely rustic haven right in the middle of your home.

I’ve put together a mini moodboard to give you more ideas on how you can mix this lovely wallpaper into your home.

Love the paper but your right about a statement piece. Just put it on one wall in the kitchen. Really not sure now it’s up there. Need something else on the wall to bring it down a little. Any suggestions please.
