Wallpaper Wednesday: Harlequin’s Tembok by Folia

Ooh I just love the colours in this week’s Wallpaper Wednesday feature. It’s from Harlequin and it’s called Tembok, part of the Folia range.

Apparently, according to the blurb, the pattern is a large pomegranate head embellished with subtle metallics. Now we love metallic splashes on our wallpaper over here so I think this one would go down very well indeed. I saw this over on the Harlequin website, as part of the new collections page, whilst looking for a little wallpaper inspiration. What I really do like about their site is the way they put together their images and style suggestions. How about this complementary fabric called Tembok Stripe?

Or, perhaps you like tise Silhouette fabric for a colour contrast?

How lovely! The difficulty for me in decorating a room, or coming up with fabric and colour inspiration is the extreme choices that are available. Websites like Harlequin, where they can take a lot of that stress and difficulty away, are top notch in my book. Now, to be fair I wouldn’t necessarily use the exact same fabrics that they’ve teamed with the wallpaper (sorry Harlequin!) but I would use these ideas for pulling a new scheme together. It’s all about individuality after all.

The wallpaper, Tembok by Folia is available from all good wallpaper stockists including John Lewis and wallpaperdirect.co.uk and retails for around £55 per roll.

Please do let me know what you think of this week’s Wallpaper feature.
