Living HQ with Farrow and Ball: Colour in the Home Event

I am really thrilled to have been invited along to the Farrow and Ball Colour Consultation evening at my local home interiors store, Living HQ next week. The renowned Colour Consultant to Farrow and Ball, Joa Studholme, is hosting and it promises to be an inspirational evening.

Living HQ is a gorgeous, modern home interiors shop in my local suburb in Nottingham, and it’s one of the only Farrow and Ball stockists in the area. Run by sisters Iwona and Natalia it has been a resident of the Musters Road shops for 5 years now. Stocking small gifts, Umbra frames, Pantone mugs and Karlsson clocks it shouts about modern style and contemporary design.

Farrow and Ball is synonymous with quality, exquisite colours, and elegance. As an independent company it produces all of its paint and wallpapers from a small town in Dorset and has been doing so for 60 years. It overseas the creation of all of its colours in order to maintain the quality it is famous for. The colours are unique, unrivalled, reflect British heritage and are used in some of the most beautiful homes and buildings around the world.

Joa Studholme’s talk, ‘Colour Inside and Outside the Home’ promises to show us how to approach colour when decorating and achieve striking results, whilst developing our knowledge of colour families. I’ve never attended an evening like this and can’t wait to see what I’ll learn. I’m hoping for lots of inspiration for upcoming projects, particularly the revamp of our front door and porch area, as well as a dining room makeover later in the year.

Come back next week and see what I made of the evening.
