Wallpaper Wednesday: Industrial Style Designs

Wallpaper Wednesday is back in earnest now, after a little hiatus, and this week I’m looking at industrial style designs, particularly those with a tin tile or concrete effect. Wallpapers like this are very popular now (and can be very expensive) so I’m on the lookout for some more affordable versions for my Facebook follower Jillanne.

Harlequin Akoa Pewter:

Harlequin-leonida-aurelia-1I actually have this one in my own home; it’s really stunning and whilst it’s not incredibly cheap at around £70 per roll, it’s not as expensive as the Brooklyn Tin Tiles at over £200 per roll. You can find out more from the Harlequin website HERE and see it on my walls on the attic reveal here.

Concrete Effects by Rebel Walls:

concrete wallPatina by Rebel Walls at £33 per square metre looks perfect for anyone wanting something hardcore and industrial on their walls. I quite fancy this for my lounge myself.

Or Charcoal by Rebel Walls below. Well worth checking out this site for their range of great industrial style designs.

And finally we can combine the two things Jillanne was looking for, tiles and concrete effect, in one.

concrete tilesAgain Concrete Tiles is just £33/m2 although the bigger the space you’ll want to fill, the more expensive it will get. Great designs and perfect for anyone loving the industrial style design for their walls.

Would you go for this look?

If you would like me to hunt down a print or design for your home or next project do let me know. You can leave a comment on the blog below, or on the Facebook page HERE. (And don’t forget to click follow over there too if you want to be part of the Love Chic Living community!)

I really love the industrial look. How cool is the concrete wallpaper. Wow I never knew you could buy wallpaper like that.

Although I’m a great fan of Brooklyn Tins and Scrapwood it’s good to see some more affordable versions but are they as effective? Will definitely check them out.

Can’t wait for another wallpaper Wednesday post to be created. I love seeing your top picks and would love to put Surface House wallpaper forward to be considered.
I really love the unusual ones like the concrete styles, but would probably choose a wallpaper with more of a pattern than random texture effects for my own home.

Heres a link to the Surface House website if you would like to have a peek.
