I have a bit of a thing for anything yellow at the moment, and this wallpaper from Habitat really caught my eye the other week. It’s called Woodgrain and I think it looks fabulous. Reclaimed style wallpapers are still big news and Habitat have hit the spot with this one. It’s a great way to add the feel and look of wood into a room. And who knew Habitat sold wallpaper? Well it’s a relatively new thing and I’m thrilled to see them bouncing back after recent troubles. Habitat is sorely missed on the high street but you can still purchase online and buy their products through Homebase and Argos.
From the lifestyle shot you can see how great it looks on just one wall, with a brighter yellow on the others, then add flashes of pink as your accent. Alternatively keep it really simple and combine with fresh white walls for a pure and clean look. Try adding greys and teals too for a more calming look. This is such a versatile colour and print you really could have it anywhere in your home and it would look fabulous.
If mustard yellow is not your think, Habitat also sell Woodgrain in a Cloud grey colourway which I admit is much more subtle, but not half as dramatic!
Woodgrain is available on the Habitat website and retails for just £20 per roll.
