Get Cosy This Autumn with wilko

Today’s post features a collaboration with wilko, where I’ve spent £100 on their new AW18 collections and styled them into my pink and green dining room.

Like me, I think you’re going to be really surprised by how amazing these pieces look, the design, the quality and the great prices.

Let me kick off with the video tour and then talk you through the changes I’ve made in more detail.

Products Used:

There are 4 new collections at wilko for the autumn/winter 18 season, and I’ve chosen products from 3 of them.

Here’s a brief overview:

Expression – features bright pops of colour, fun patterns and geometric designs.

Treasured – beautifully relaxed collection with a soft palette of calming greys and blush pink highlighted by marble patterns and rose copper.

Hyper Natural – inspired by exotic climates with a rich colour palette of jungle greens mixed with dark saturated blues and deep plums

Fusion – timeless Eastern-inspired prints, warming spiced tones and nautical blues.

The Space:

You’ve probably come across our dining room makeover before. It’s a room that we are all really pleased with (even if the husband was a little reticent about the pink) and a room that visitors seem to gravitate towards too.

Primarily a dining room, it has actually become more of a hangout space. The teenagers often sit in here either gaming or reading, and as a family we seem to spend a lot of time in here just ‘mingling’. The design has worked really well.

It’s also a great canvas for showcasing new products, and many of the pieces from wilko work really well with the bright, contemporary but cosy design.

There’s a lot to be impressed about from the wilko ranges this season. Great colours, beautiful coordination and some very on-trend designs. The prices are all amazing. The quality is fabulous and these make some great additions to the room.

The pink throw at £15 feels way more expensive. The cushions are soft and plump and feel hardwearing.

I really love the small letter drawer set with its dark green covers – this is going to be so handy. And the very cute hexagonal mirror at just £5 is an absolute steal! I’ll be picking up a few more of these and using them around the house.

The scandi design clock is the ideal design for our home, and my youngest daughter caught sight of it and has earmarked it for her own room. It’s a great fit in there and she doesn’t have a wall clock so that’s a great match.

Shop the Look:

Letter Draws £8 || Hummingbird Cushion £7 || Artificial Succulent £8 || Pink Throw £15 || Green Vase 2 pack £8 || Green Gold Candle £5 || Green Velvet Cushion £8 || Green Tealight Holders £2 ||  Pink Vase £8 || Scandi Clock £8 || Hexagonal Mirror £5

What do you think of these pieces from wilko?

I think you’ll agree they add some colourful, cosy touches to our dining room / den space. I’d love to know what you think?

Some really great ideas for Christmas actually in this post. If you want to create cosiness, you cannot go wrong with tea light holders, but i ALSO REALLY LIKED THE little drawers that can sit on a desk or inside of the IKEA bookcases that everyone has these days. Handy storage! You looked great in the video Jen!
