How to Try your SofaBed Before you Buy

polka-modelI love the concept of the sofabed but have struggled in the past to find a decent one. Either they’re a great sofa but not good as a bed, or they work brilliantly as a bed, but are really uncomfortable to sit on. Finding a good one is really tricky.

They’re incredibly useful though and I’ve had various types over the years. We don’t have enough space for a guest room so putting a sofabed in another room, like a bedroom or the living room can be exactly what you need for occasional guests. I’ve written before about how to create a good space for overnight visitors and how to create a multifunctional room.

So, when I was told about SofaBedSofa and their great offer, I was intrigued. This is a great idea I think you’ll agree.

They invite you to spend the night with them, before you spend your money. Their lovely showroom in a converted Orangery in Wiltshire is also home to their sofabeds, where you can book a free night’s stay and be treated to complimentary refreshments, country views and a good night’s sleep on one of their sofabeds. I’m tempted to take up their offer for a night away myself!

Apparently, a study by Research Triangle International which looked at 16,000 nights of sleep found that our muscles are more relaxed when asleep. Muscles that support the back are significantly relaxed and so a mattress can feel very different from when awake. It’s important to try out the mattress when you’re sleeping then – not something that’s offered generally.

Sofa bed try before you buyIsn’t that a great sales technique? And something genuinely different for a company to offer. Would you try it out?

SofaBedSofa designs and makes all of its sofabeds in the UK. They are great for small spaces and fit into that multi-functional room we mentioned easily. They are also giving away a £50 Amazon voucher with every purchase at the time of writing.

I have a sofa bed but it’s only a cheap one and I do think you get what you pay for. It’s really versatile though for when people come to stay.

Try before you buy is my personal motto, and for sofa beds, I find the offer particularly attractive. This article is extremely helpful, I will definitely share it with all my sofa bed loving friends! 🙂

I’m a big fan of sofa beds although I don’t tend to sleep on it often myself but I have family stay over occasionally and have had complaints it’s not the most comfortable. The try before you buy is a great offer and one I will take up on to get one that I feel is comfortable for myself…Great article thank you for sharing!
