I am looking forward to the opening ceremony because after Beijing everyone said it was going to be a real anticlimax and I am looking forward to them all being proved wrong!!! A lot of people in this country are really negative and cynical about the whole thing and I think it is time that everybody got behind the Games and supported it as oppposed to picking holes in everything!

How can you single out one sport? Its been a mass of sporting and human spectacle with many many highlights and achievements. One of my most fave being the reception given to the Saudi female athlete by the London crowd. Now I’m looking forward to the closing ceremony which will signify the end of a peaceful and successful games. Roll on the Victory parade in September!

I have been so excited, its all about passion and team-work, and yesterday I saw it very close-up! I went to the Olympics! I was very lucky to have four tickets to the Beach Volley Ball yesterday, and it was amazing! I am not really into sport, but it was so well organised, everyone was so friendly and it was a high point for my kids summer holidays. I am glad they can now say they went! 😉

Just enjoying the whole happy, excited atmosphere, the real feelgood factor which means everyone is having a great time – and I loved the women’s hockey semi-final where GB came so close to winning. All these sportspeople have done brilliantly!
