Father’s Day Gift Guide

Are you still on the hunt for some last minute bits for your Dad this Father’s Day? If so, I’ve put together a little last minute gift guide to showcase a few pieces I’m loving, to hopefully give you a little inspiration for the weekend. I’m all sorted thankfully, both for my Dad and the husband (I know, check me out!) but I’ve found a few cute ideas that will suit the stylish, home loving Dad.

Science Lab Jar Duo:

storage_jar_duoNow pretty home storage items may not be at the top of your home loving Dad’s list, but these science focused storage jars are just the ticket for most men I think. I know my husband would go for these, and they’re cute enough to be out on display. I’m thinking they’d make great desk accessories, or even for the bathroom. They are from Not Another Bill and retail for just £12. Look out for a post coming soon on Not Another Bill, they’re a subscription style service that allows you to receive beautiful gifts through your letter box – perfect for a gift. In fact you could sign your Dad up to this for 3 months, and really give him something special this year.

Amazon Fire Stick:

I’ve only just started using Amazon Prime this year when I bought the girls some Fire tablets for Christmas (well worth the £50 btw) and so we were keen to try out a Fire Stick allowing us access to the TV and movie selection actually on our TV. Looking like a slightly overgrown USB stick, and at just £34.99 it’s a great gift for Dad; a gadget he’ll enjoy tinkering with allowing him to sneak off to a spare room and plug it into a spare TV. Hours of Dad TV in peace and quiet. Perfect. Available from www.amazon.co.uk

Cufflink Tray:

I love the stylish wooden stand, simple and chic, which won’t jar with your decor and looks effortlessly at ease in any home. Now all you need to do is help him find his keys every morning!

Friday Night Curry Kit:

original_friday-night-curry-three-month-subscriptionThe Friday Night Curry Kit Subscription from NOTHS for £20 lasts for 3 months and I can honestly say this is great. I bought it last year for the husband, and we had great fun making curries on a Friday (it’s always curry night here on a Friday) using spices we would never be able to find, and eating curries we’d never tried. It comes in a pouch with a  love gift note letting Dad know what your plans are. Then apply for the kit and a new pack comes each month. Great fun and a good price too.

What are you buying Dad this year?

I think I’ll go for the Cufflink Tray. I had to laugh when I was thinking of dad, every other day anxiously looking for his keys, his sunglasses or his wallet …
