WIN a Double Mattress and Two Pillows from OTTY worth £600

Happy weekend folks! Just popping in to launch this great giveaway which I know you are going to love.

I’ve partnered with the fab team at OTTY this time and they are offering the most amazing prize. I’m thrilled to say they have given me a double mattress and two pillows to give to one lucky reader in today’s giveaway post. So if your current mattress is years old and you’re in the market for a new one, let me tell you more.

Who are OTTY Sleep?

OTTY was created out of the founder’s desire to find a mattress that fulfilled his needs and didn’t cost the earth. He decided to create his own and a year later OTTY was born.

All OTTY mattresses are designed and engineered in the UK, with their head office based out of Leeds. the long life span of the mattresses means they can offer an amazing 10 year guarantee and a 100 night trial.

OTTY is an innovative mattress concept which mixes all the key ingredients for the perfect night’s sleep: comfort, support and temperature control. Luxurious memory foam adapts to your ideal sleeping posture, whilst cooling and Airflow technology prevent its high insulation from overheating the bed.

Introducing the OTTY Double Mattress

The OTTY mattress combines five unique layers to ensure you get the perfect night’s sleep. The supreme comfort provided by an OTTY mattress lies in the spring design and quality. The mattress has a special 1.6mm gauge, 14cm long encapsulated pocket spring which is not only perfect for creating support, but also durable enough to last decades.

Within the core layer of the OTTY mattress, you will find 2000 of these springs! That means that each part of your body will find its perfect position throughout the night, aiding comfort, easing aches and pains and giving you a great night’s sleep.

A unique cooling gel is infused into the top layer of memory foam which keeps your body cooler for longer, while the Air Flow system actively removes excess heat from the mattress by letting fresh air circulate through the perforations in the sides.

The result is a mattress that not only supports and contours your body, but also acts as a thermostatic regulator to ensure all aspects of a good night’s sleep are met. The mattress is also hypo-allergenic to prevent dust mites and allergies.

The mattress will arrive conveniently packaged in a box and whilst there’s so much more to a mattress that it’s firmness rating, this one is probably around a medium firm.

Sounds pretty amazing right?

And don’t forget the two OTTY pillows too. OTTY Deluxe pillows are made entirely from their unique thermostatic Cool Blue Gel memory foam. The pillow moulds actively to your head and shoulders and allows you to wake up cool, calm and comfortable.

You can find out more about the OTTY mattress HERE, and the Deluxe Pillows HERE.

  13. February 2013! I got pregnant in March 2013, had the most horrendous pregnancy. Then you obviously have the newborn phase with no sleep and at this point I have an early rising 4 year old and am left with chronic pain and disability from the pregnancy and therefore, it’s been a while. And I don’t expect that to change anytime soon, or possibly ever…

  59. As I suspect with a lot of parents, before my 3 year old daughter was born. Even if I’m given a chance of a lie in I don’t usually take it as I feel I’m wasting the day! The thought of a lie in is always bliss though

  60. A couple of weeks ago when I had a 3 day weekend, cooor blimey did I love that lie in, I didn’t get out of bed till 1pm!

  62. Would have to be on Saturday morning – I forgot to put my alarm on and slept for about 11 hours! Was well needed though!

  63. The last time I had a good lie in was before I gave birth a year ago! since then, noooooo, nope!! no lie ins! Me and my son just got our first ever home, I have been living at my parents since having him and working to as a young single mum, but thankfully managed to work and save for our deposit and we are moving into our first family home on the may bank holiday! 74. Not for ages with children it’s virtually impossible, but I DREAM of a leisurely lie-in.

  75. years and years ago, before I had my first child, so it would be the best thing ever

  80. I count getting up at 8am a really good lie in..any later and I feel I’ve wasted the day! So I’d say last Saturday. My 7 year old didn’t wake me up for once. It was great! Here’s hoping for the same outcome this weekend! 😀

  88. I don’t even remember the last time I had a good nights sleep, never mind a lie in lol

  89. This morning and hopefully I’ll have an even better one on Monday knowing I don’t have to get up to go to work!

  90. it’s been so long I can’t remember, probably on our holiday last June, our alarm goes off at 5.15am every day so no chance usually!

  91. Last week when I kicked my husband out of our bed to get into the spare room because of his snoring, I had a lovely sleep and didn’t wake until 6.30am

  92. Ahahahaha….I have 7 & 3 year olds!! But I did get a few lie-ins on my work trip to the USA last year. But I’m talking 8.30!

  93. Even when I don’t have work I always wake up the same time every morning so rare I get a lay in

  105. Boxing Day – it’s one treat that I insist upon after all the fuss and drama and cooking of Christmas!

  112. I struggle to get a good nights sleep especially given I’m on nights at the moment, the stress of working on the wards keeps me awake and having broken sleep, I’d love to be able to relax on a lovely comfy mattress for once x

  113. This weekend! Marathon training is over and I allowed myself to lie in – it was fab.

  114. My last one was 7 months ago aa i had a baby in december and had toigh few montha in led up to birth so didnt sleep much. My son makes it all worth while though

  115. Haven’t had a good nights sleep since the kids were born, desperately in need of some restful nights sleep

  116. 36 years ago before I had my eldest. I now have grandchildren that I help look after so what would have been days to myself are taken up with them and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

  117. My birthday! It seems to be the only day my body clock doesn’t have me wide awake at 6!

  118. The last Bank Holiday – Didnt want to sleep in too long and miss all that glorious sunshine though.

  119. Can’t remember the last time I had a lie in as don’t sleep well so always wide awake from about 5am.

  129. 27 years ago before my first child and I have been an extreme insomniac since and have not had more than 4 hours sleep and usually fewer hours than that!

  130. I actually had a nice long sleep in at the weekend but i must say it was the first in many months with young children!

  131. What a wonderful looking mattress, I think my partner and I would get a brilliant nights sleep on this!

  132. I last replaced mine around 1yeaqr ago, someone was giving one away on freecycle and i had been on a sofabed until then

  133. 2 years ago before I had my little boy who loves to creep into my bed at 4am every morning 🙂

  134. My kids are teenagers now so they sleep in all the time which means if I want a lie in I can have one 🙂 I had a nice lie in on the Bank Holiday

  135. I can sleep in as long as I like as I work from home, but unfortunately I also live in a noisy location. Would also help to have a more comfortable mattress, as current one is too firm.

  136. I cannot recall, I haven’t had a full nights sleep in a long time, being a woman of a certain age, I toss and turn, throughout the night, I go from hot to cold. Cover on covers off. It can become quite exhausting

  137. On Mothers day everyone got up and tidied the house while i got a lovely morning in bed.

  138. Too long ago to remember, once my eyes are open thats It I have to get up, would love to have a lie In once In a while though

  140. It’s been almost 8 months since my daughter was born. She likes to wake up early these days but for the first month I used to lie in until about 10am cuddling her. It was the best lie in ever.

  141. My last great lie in must have been over a year ago when my husband and i went to Norfolk to stay in a luxury lodge for a weekend!

  142. This Morning. Week off work and the wifes turn today to take our daughter to nursery.

Next one due on Saturday 🙂

  143. Probably a good few years ago now I have two kids! Although even when I do get the chance I wake up early haha

  144. Despite not having kids I still never seem to get a lie in. I cant actually remember the last time.

  145. I really can’t remember the last time I had a really good lie in! Probably about 2 years ago!

  146. I am usually in bed for 2200hrs with a 0600 get up, on the monthly occasions I am night shift an all day lie in is very welcome indeed.

  147. Was today I am off for the week and slept till 1pm since I was up will 5am last night, wasn’t too hot or too cold last night so perfect

  148. I try to get a lie on on a Sunday morning, but invariably the cats start trying to wake me up from 6am for breakfast and i’m too soft to ignore their cries.

  149. it’s been a while since I last had a really good lie in. Been trying to have one but it’s not happening. Either have the kids waking me up, neighbours, insomnia, cars on the road or springs ticking in me from my current mattress

  150. Its not really in my nature to have a lie in, when I wake up I tend to get up straight away

  151. February when my fella and I were away in Cornwall for his 50th birthday and we got snowed in

  152. I don’t tend to lie in very much now I am older. In my teens and twenties, I could lie in all day, but now I get up.

  153. 23rd July 2015! How do I know? I was on Honeymoon, that was the last day, & every other day we’re up by 7 to walk our two rescue dogs!

  154. I honestly can’t remember – shoulder pain means I’m lucky if I last until 6 am!

  155. Last weekend, it was my birthday so was treated to a long lie in and then breakfast in bed…heaven!

  156. Can’t remember the last time, new mattress has been on my radar to see if that is the problem!

  157. It depends what you. All a lie in ! I had a lie in until 645pm on Saturday but as for a lie in after 8 I cannot remember maybe 23 years as that is the span of my children from 8 to 22

  158. I really can’t remember the last time I had a lie in.If I am still in bed at 7am it’s because I am ill

  159. Wow, I could really do with a decent nights’ sleep! Anything to sort out my back pain would be amazing!

  160. That would be the last Bank Holiday Monday…it’s basically what they are for in my opinion 😉 x

  161. Honestly cannot remember, its been that long. Probably before my daughter was born, so about 15 years ago. Perhaps a new mattress would make the world of difference. Heres hoping

  162. I try and get a lie in on a weekend but usually only manage an hour so anymore than that is a good lie in for me. I can’t remember the last time that happened to be honest!

  163. I only have a lie-in when I’m sick, but I do love an early night – especially in the autumn and winter when it’s cold outside and dark early! 🙂 x

  164. Yesterday! Had a late night on Saturday and i no longer have the powers of recovery i possessed in my younger days.

  165. I let my son stay up for Eurovision, so he didn’t get up the next day till 9.30….. which was nice.

  166. A bad back has meant I haven’t had a proper lie in for ages. That and the cat jumping on the bed and demanding his breakfast at 6 o’clock every morning! My teenagers can sleep in until lunchtime but I think it’s a skill that you lose as you get older. It’s probably a good thing otherwise I would never get anything done.

  167. I haven’t had a lie in for ages! I go to bed really early, around 10 pm, so after 8 hours sleep, I’m up at 6 am.

  168. i would have to say most weekends, we are usually up at 6am through the week so when we wake up at 8/9ish on a weekend its a lovely lie in 🙂

  169. Since I got divorce 2 years ago, just mostly down to stress and worry (mostly about the children)

  170. I had a lovely lie in this morning until 7.30 thats a lie in these days as usually awake at 6

  171. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a decent lay in unless you class getting up at 7.30 instead of 6am on the weekends one

  172. I am a full time carer to an elderly parent, and the last time I had a good lie in was 18 months ago due to said parent spending a short spell in hospital.

  173. A looong time ago! I think the last time would have been back before I got my rescue dogs. Since I got them they’ve had me up at 6am on the dot every single day (yes, including Sundays!) wanting their breakfast!

  174. My last great lie in was about 3 months ago when we stayed the night after a wedding (without the kids). We missed breakfast but it was more than worth it for the extra zzzzz.

  175. I would say about 2 years ago before my youngest was born as he is now 15 months old and hasn’t slept out once x

  176. We run a busy B & B so a lie in is a rare treat, even when we went on holiday we had to get up at 6am every morning to join the included guided tours! Going away soon with no timetable, so fingers crossed.

  177. I seriously cannot remember the last time I had a lie in… any time past 7am would be great!

  178. Far too long ago to remember. My cat doesn’t allow me to sleep in – apparently it is play time from 6am every day!

  179. I went away for a spa weekend with my mum one month ago. I had a lovely quiet lie in then. Lovely prize.

  180. When I had the flu in February. My body clock is set to 6 hours sleep so to get a lie in I have to go to bed ridiculously late.

  181. The Bank Holiday weekend but it wasn’t that great as I didn’t mean to. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.

  182. I can’t even remember the last time I had a great lie in 🙁 chance would be a fine thing!

  183. Can’t remember the last time I had a proper relaxing lie in. Although I did wake up with 15 minutes to get the kids dressed and out the door today but that was down to a bad night’s sleep with a sore throat 🙁 It was like that scene in Home Alone when they’re late for their flight x

  184. When we came back from a holiday in the USA and we were all very jetlagged even our little boy had a lie in!

  185. We had a weekend away from the kids in February so I got a lie in then, but not a proper one as a hotel bed just isn’t the same as getting a lie in at home!

  186. 3 months ago. We have been living with family while our house sale goes through and it is very cramped and noisy. We get the keys on Tuesday so can’t wait for a lie in xx

  187. Wow, last good night’s sleep? Must have been this Easter at “granny’s house”! The only lie ins in have ever gotten in the past 10 years have been thanks to her – she looks after my three while I catch up on some zzzzzs… Thanks goodness for grandmas!

  188. I cannot remember the last time I had a good nights sleep. I wake up in agony every morning. Been comparing new mattresses and the OTTY seems to have the edge. Fingers crossed 🙂

  189. It was supposed to be today ha! However, the kids are so excited to leave for Butlins later that we’ve ended up with about 20 mins of lie in rather than the hour + I was hoping for!!

  190. Ooh I honestly can’t remember! Probably when I was pregnant (my daughter is now 19 months old) she’s not the best sleeper so we’re up at 5.45 most mornings, she slept in until 6.30 Last Friday which was nice as it was my birthday haha!!

  191. I cant even remember, probably around 7 years ago before the kids, my body just auto wakes up now at about 6am regardless of if the kids wake me or not! My lie in now consist of laying in bed on my phone waiting for them to wake up lol

  192. Not for a while. Last time, we had the potential to have a lie in, when the grandparents had the boys, we both woke up normal time and we couldn’t get back to sleep!

  193. Last Sunday i had a lovely lie in and im looking forward to getting one in the morning as i have had a week of 5am starts at work! xx

  194. It’s been about 6 months since I’ve had a nice lie in. With the new job I’ve recently got it will now be a while until I get another one as I’m up at about 4:45 every morning.

  195. I can’t remember the last time I had a lie in I’ve got a newborn and a 4 year old. I’m not greedy I don’t dream of a lie in, I just want to sleep through the night

  196. about 2 weeks ago i woke up at 11 am … on my day off… i was mortified , i never sleep in

  197. I had a lie in maybe a week ago but we have a kitten that is keen for his breakfast so we can’t lie in too long

  198. To be very honest I really can’t remember it’s been that long! With children, a husband, a dog and work it seems a luxury to have a lie in 🙁 Would be nice though! We need a new mattress too as we still have the same mattress we bought when we moved in together and that was 23 years ago! There’s only so much vacuuming and steaming one mattress can take lol 🙂 Anyway, thanks for the chance 🙂

  199. i’ve had a few opportunities when i’ve gone away for the night without my babies but my body clock is conditioned to lightly sleep and wake to check on kids i dont seem to be physically able to sleep past 6am now – i look 100 years old!!!!

  200. Much rather be up and make the most of the day. Trying hard to make sure I get to bed early enough to get 8 hours of sleep as many nifgts as possible – negates the need for a lie-in.

  201. I really can’t remember the last time I had a good lie in but hoping to have one in the very near future if I win this prize

  202. I don’t remember the last time I had a great lie in. When I was working I used to long for a lie in but now I wake up early every day and can’t drop off again. Typical isn’t it?

  203. Very rare, but last time I had a good sleep in was Friday morning. Thankyou for the competition x

  204. Easter Sunday long lie in with the dogs, no shops open no pressure. Best day ever, prefer it to Christmas day

  205. My last good sleep was when I was on holiday.I think I’m more relaxed, and away from my everyday worries

  206. About 6 years ago I own an epileptic dog who has to be medicated at 8am would give anything for a good lie in, live in hope maybe one day

  207. Desperately need a new mattress but can’t afford one . Would love to win this, it all looks amazing!

  208. I had a long lie this morning, as yesterday I had a 14 hour shift and I’m off this weekend x

  209. My eldest son is almost 13, and my youngest is 9, and I don’t remember having a lie in since becoming a mum.

  210. After being a full time 24/7 carer for my late Granmother these last 10 years just starting to get back into a normal sleep pattern , so there has been a few lie ins as of late

  211. Last Sunday – 12 hours, but it was jet lag sleeping so then couldn’t sleep the next night!

  212. A few weeks ago when both the kids had a sleepover at their nans, woke up at 11 it was heaven.

  213. Its been so long since I had a good lie in that I just cant remember, I am definitely over due one 😀

  214. Last weekend on our babymoon to Glasgow – we probably won’t get that many lie ins once the baby’s born, ha ha!

  215. What’s a lie in not with my work shift in need of a new mattress though might take a week off just to stay in bed

  216. I get a long lie-in most days as my medication knocks me out and I have difficulty waking up. Unfortunately it also means the first part of the morning is spent in a bit of a fog until my head clears.

  217. What’s a lie in with my work shifts it’s never gonna happen but if I won a new mattress I would take a week off and spend it in bed

  218. It’s been a while. First, our neighbours were having an extension built therefore the builders have been banging from early oclock every day. Also, since our little boy was born, he’s our early morning wake up call, but that one I can handle when I wake up to those smiles.

    Probably not since November.

  219. Definitely before I had kids! mine are teens now but I still don’t get a lie in, it’s as though I am now programmed to wake up at stupid oclock!

  220. Last time myself and husband had a good night sleep was when we slept in a premier inn ,over the last 8 years we have bought at least 4 mattresses from memory foam to coil/memory and I can honestly say we really are unable to find the perfect mattress I have very painful hips now and I do believe it’s down to the mattresses and husband has a really bad back due to an accident years ago,but he is in more pain also .so we really could do with a win and if we are happy we will spread the word like wild fire. X x

  221. It was actually last weekend. My Mum and Dad had both children as it was me and my hubbys wedding anniversary. I slept like a log and had a perfect lie in.

  222. the last time we went away to a hotel 2 years ago woke up at 11 missed breakfast slot gutted but pleased!

  223. It has been at least ten years. Probably that long ago since I’ve had a proper good night sleep (when my daughter came along).

  224. Yesterday! I didn’t have to get up at 3.30am on my day off as for the first time ever my partner was quiet enough that he didn’t wake me up!

  225. the last time I slept well was probably five years ago…….I started waking up in the night going through the menopause and haven’t slept well since

  226. Every weekend. During the week my alarm goes off at 3am. So 6am at the weekend is a massive lay in.

  227. Not for a while, I seem to always be wide awake and ready to go at the same time on the weekends as in the week. I will sometikmes treat myself with an afternoon catnap though

  228. Had a lie ‘til 9.30 today – seriously late by my standards. Now just have to get my teenage son to lie in – perhaps a new mattress would do it.

  229. I actually had a lie in until 9am this morning, first time in ages I can remember I had a great nights sleep and didn’t wake up when the kids did! My 2 year old Lexie usually wakes afew times in the night giving a really bad sleep and then I struggle to wake and always wake with a headache!! This morning I woke up quite easily fresh as a daisy. I feel great!!!

  230. Before I had my son who is now 3, he sleeps all night but currently 32 weeks pregnant I think it will be w while until I sleep again now

  231. I last had a lie in at Easter when I went away for a couple of days with my husband, It was the best sleep ever!

  232. This morning – after a lovely street party for the Royal Wedding. Was very tired – think it was the sun. Definitely *not* the wine!

  233. Yesterday – my baby girl is 12 weeks old but miraculously had a fab nights sleep on Friday and even decided to lie in after her feed on Saturday morning. Amazing 🙂

  234. About a month ago, I booked a week off, had no agenda and forced myself to rest! Made me realise how much I needed to stop and take a rest!

  235. Honestly can’t remember! Would have been pre-kids. Eldest now 16 and youngest is 11!! Looking forward to it though and am certain that it will be much enjoyed

  236. This morning! Not well, so trying to catch up on some sleep before back to work on Mon. Was glorious!

  237. This morning! A very hungover Sunday morning ZZzzz lol. Thanks for the chance to be your lucky winner

  238. Can’t remember the last time I laid in. I prefer to enjoy the morning sun and have a nap later on in the day 😛

  239. Chickens are not keen on me having a lie in as they love to be out as soon as the sun is up. I do sometimes go back to bed though

  240. Even when it’s my day off my body clock acts as an alarm at 7 so can’t remember when I last had a good lie in

  241. I’m usually in bed at 3am and up between 8am and 9am but I did about 2 weeks ago oversleep and not get up till 10am

  242. OOoohhhh I honestly can’t remember the last lie in I had!! But I’m pretty sure you’re fab prize could help :o) :o)

  243. Ohhhh love chic living, this otty mattress would be a dream come true. I tried to have a decent lay in yesterday… my daughter woke me up shouting that her phone had the black screen of death and we had to spend hours of our Saturday fixing it or facing her wrath. I’m sure you can guess which we picked lol xx

  244. This morning! The dog normally wakes me up at about 7 but he stayed asleep till 10. I feel so much better after it

  245. tough one! not sure to be honest, i work full time and have 3 kids, it could be a few years since i relxaed in bed, probably last time my birthday was on a sunday ha ha

  246. It’s been many years since I had a good nites sleep let alone a lie in! But although I yearn for either I am just grateful I wake each morning to embrace a new day

  247. Must have been 2007 as it’s before I had daughter number 1 and before I became pregnant ! Fortunately both my girls are good sleepers but the day starts at 7am and even if my hubby gets up first they aren’t the quietest children to enjoy a lie in ! Wouldn’t swap them for the world though.

  248. This morning! I tend not to lie in too long but this morning I was just to comfortable to get up

  249. My goodness, I cannot remember my last lie-in!

I have a cat that thinks the day starts at 5.00am when the birds start twittering!

  250. I can’t remember, but it was before I had kids. Somehow lie ins are a distant memory by now.

  251. actually cant remember with bringing up children pets to look after and being a carer to hubby also with arthritis in my hip back and hands its been some time

  252. The last time i had a good lie in was a few years ago really, I don’t dont sleep as good as I used to to, maybe this matress will help.

  253. probably before Christmas, my mattress has sprung and i keep rolling on it and I understand the pea and the princess dilemma now

  254. The last time I had a great lie in was years ago as I wake earlier now and don’t sleep as solid as once did.

  255. 8 years ago!! Though, in fairness our 7 year old did sleep in until 8am yesterday and that classes as a good lie in these days!

  256. Today. I got up at about 10am. I don’t usually work on weekends so enjoy a lie in on a Sunday if we don’t have any plans for the day.

  257. About 4 years ago when I had my chug Arthur I love him to pieces but he’s more hard work than a baby lol. Plus my mattress is awful so it’s difficult to sleep let alone lie in
