Allow me to introduce you to the new Linn Laundry collection from Brabantia.
Now, Brabantia is a brand that I’ve long supported. I love their products and have had them in my own home, long before I started writing about them on the blog.
They are one of my favourites and they create products with practical solutions that look absolutely fantastic (have you seen my Bo bin?).
So Brabantia has just launched a new laundry storage solution and asked me to use it and show it on the blog.
The idea behind the Linn collection is to allow you to dry, organise and store your clothes and laundry. Available in two colours (black or white) and two sizes – mine you see here is the small size – it’s ideal for bedrooms, hallways or laundry rooms.
Unfortunately my hallway is very narrow so the laundry rack won’t fit, but I love it in the bedroom. It’s perfect if you want to keep out a selection of clothes to preview, prepare clothes for packing or hang items here to ‘air’ before storing them in the wardrobe.
And during this little photo shoot I was surprised at exactly how many animal print pieces I own!
The Linn laundry rack comes complete with two drying racks which can be placed at different heights accroding to your needs. The racks are great for drying damp clothes or storing shoe boxes and of course, my favourite – the Linn collapsible laundry basket.
There’s also space for up to 16 hangers – you can see 8 of them here on the bamboo pole at the top of the rack.
The laundry basket collapses into a very neat flat rectangle that can be easily stored or hung in a cupboard when not in use.
This is going to be very useful during the summer on my trips to the washing line (I know, it doesn’t get more exciting that this does it!). But seriously, it’s a beautifully made product and very clever. I do love it.
I love that whole thing takes up minimal space yet has been designed to allow for maximum storage. AND I love that it looks amazing too.
The white rack in particular is great for fitting into all kinds of decor, particularly if you like a more minimal colour scheme.
It was exceptionally easy to put together taking only 10 minutes on my own, and it’s sturdy and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from Brabantia.
We’re moving the Linn rack to our office for the time being, where it will come in very handy for hanging coats during our big family Christmas party in a few weeks’ time. My daughter (who will be in charge of coats) has even planned that all the children’s shoes can be neatly stored on the racks underneath.
I do love a piece of furniture that proves its worth and has plenty of uses, don’t you?
I’d love to know what you think of the Linn laundry collection – useful or design over function?

Collaborative post – thank you for supporting the brands that make the blog possible.
I loved this as soon as I first saw it. It’s such a practical piece but so well designed. I really wanted it for my utility room but even the small version is too big for the space we had available. Such a shame as it’s a great piece. I might get the laundry basket though as I love that it’s collapsible. Any space saving features are a bit with me.
It’s so cute! And as you say, it will be useful when you’re packing for a trip or airing clothes. I hope you have a great weekend, Jen!
How lovely is this! So many clothes rails and maidens are just awful looking aren’t they? This is actually really lovely, and really compact too!
That’s such a clever and practical piece! And it actually looks pretty cool too! Definitely something to think about, thanks for the introduction! 🙂
In my next dream home I’m going to have a dedicated laundry room and this is going in it! Love how practical it is, but also it’s looks. One for the wish list. x
