Looking for easy photo collage ideas? We’ve got you covered in today’s article.

One of the most popular things you can do to your home, is to add a personalised photo collage. But so many of us ask, how to make a collage, even though it can look so easy.

We know it’s the best way to bring style, personality and a unique element to your walls, whilst also creating something emotional and thought provoking to display.

They’re one of my favourite ways to add colour and life to walls so let’s start discussing the different ways you can create them.

Easy Photo Collage Ideas:

Making a photo collage display doesn’t take long and there are great sites online that make it super easy when you want some photo printing.

So let’s look at some of the different ways you can use your photos to make creative and easy wall collages around the home.

Retro Photos Wall Collage Inspiration:

This has to be one of my favourite collage styles using your own photos.

Photo collages are a great way to bring a collection of your images, perhaps from a holiday, a baby shower, a Christmas gathering, or your wedding to life in one easy go.

Many printing services will create these retro style prints and then you can use string and mini pegs to create your own display.

What’s most cool about these, is you can change them around as you want to.

Got a new batch of holiday snaps you want to display? No problem, just swap out the Christmas pics for your latest travel adventure.

Make a Photo Wall Display:

A colourful and bright photo wall collage

Creating a photo wall collage allows you to be your most creative.

You can really let your imagination run wild with this with a diy photo collage.

Let’s face it, we all have hundreds, if not thousands of photos on our phones that we’ve never looked at or used.

It’s time we changed all that. Printing them, and arranging into a photo wall collage is the cheapest and easiest way to use them.

Whether you’re creating a wall art display of holiday snaps, your favourite person, the new baby, or your beloved pets, there’s going to be something that makes you joyful and happy.

Bring that to life in a stunning photo wall collage in a room of your choice to spice your home decor.

(I just love this creative shaped collage above!).

Nostalgic Photo Wall Collage:

Retro black and white photo to use in a photo wall collage

I have a box in the attic full of old black and white family photos from my ancestors.

It hardly gets looked at, but my children are often asking about our family tree.

So, my to-do list includes framing up all these old photos and creating my own family tree wall decor. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

And if it works, I’ll add it to the living room, so we can look at it all the time.

And if you don’t have the photos to hand you can always get some printed, specifically in black and white to create this nostalgic style wall display.

Easy Picture Collage Idea:

This has to be the easiest picture collage idea I’ve come across.

And it would look really good in any room, where you want a striking, eye-catching wall art piece.

My advice is to keep it really simple.

  1. Take your favourite image from your phone. A person, plant, vista, or view.
  2. Get it printed in a small 6×4 size.
  3. Then print the same photo in 2 larger sizes.
  4. Frame them in a simple design.
  5. Or choose to have them put on canvas.

Now take the images and display them side by side in ascending order.

Bang. you have a stunning wall collage for any room in your home.

I hope you love these ideas. Honestly, with a phone full of photos you’ll never run out of picture collage ideas again. And your home will literally burst with colour, inspiration and joy on every wall.

What kind of photo collage idea do you like best?
